Gareth Bowden

Gareth produces storyboards, editorial illustrations, character art, 3D animations and models for a variety of personal projects, causes and initiatives. Starting his journey in the Dark Peak, Gareth has found his way to historic Kent via London where he reads, illustrates and works across design disciplines including branding, visual identity and campaign graphics. His passion lies in character art and telling stories with drawing.

Having delved into theatre and costume design for performance, his creative pathway naturally seeks new directions, perspectives and influences to enrich his work. The result is an array of creative works layered with ideas and sub-plots that aim to take the viewer through an alternate reality, occasionally sprinkled with the unexpected, on a journey to greater understanding of the story behind them.

Gareth’s primary tools are Procreate and Illustrator, and is also experienced in delivering content across channels using Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, InDesign, and Blender.
